Description

Self paced tutorial for learning about cluster computing using exacloud, the exascale computing cluster at OHSU. Covers simple jobs, batch jobs, and interactive jobs using SLURM.

Learning Objectives

Learn about cluster computing architectures, including compute nodes and head nodes
Understand the role of the head node in a SLURM architecture.
Query and learn about job queues, nodes
Run a simple SLURM job using srun
Batch multiple jobs using sbatch
Execute interactive jobs using srun
