Some thoughts on corporate training and making it successful for your employees. As a trainer, I can only help people during training. I can't help people if their org is constantly devaluing training time.

Supervisors need to make time and space for learning. And not just an hour here and then. It's really hard to learn while everyone is demanding something.

I want to be as supportive as I can of learners. But they need time and space to explore and make things stick. There's not much I can do to fix things on my side if the org devalues training time.
