@KellyBodwin It's always good to have a straw man to compare your more sophisticated models to. It also reminds you that parsimony (in order to make explainable models) is best.

@KellyBodwin I was experimenting with showing off a simple model as a baseline, and then challenging the students to do better, and compare their results via a spreadsheet. I think it's a good group learning activity.
