          1. I have my students fill out a short survey after every class, which counts as their attendance. In it, they let me know clearest points, muddiest points, and anything else they want to tell me. It's a good check on my teaching, although it can occasionally be demoralizing.

      Still some confusion about it, but I've found that the homework usually helps cement what they've learned.

    I am grateful that the students are willing to let me know what things they find confusing. It definitely helps shape the course, and their feedback has been helpful.
