        1. Here's what I wish admins and collaborators would understand about me. Teaching, especially online, is really emotionally draining. I've had to lecture and develop labs in 3 different courses this term. Asking for things on top of this is pretty much pushing me over the brink.

        Since I am paid from a number of collaborative projects, I am trying to partition my time to do the expected work. But some weeks asking for extra things is bound to make me reactive and nasty. I don't like doing this - it's a defense mechanism.

      What I need is some sort of stress barometer that will let collaborators know when asking things is way too much, or that sending me panicked and stressed emails at that point is not going to be productive.
